In the fourth and fifth semester you will each take a major and specialize. You choose the first focus in the degree program Media Management and Digital Marketing (BA). Film and video production
Moving images are the most important means of communication today. The focus introduces you to the basics of a promising film and video production. You will acquire extensive knowledge in the areas of content development, storytelling and cinematic implementation (camera, lighting, direction and post-production). You will also learn how the production management of moving images for digital sales structures can succeed.
Digital and social media management
As part of the focus on digital and social media management, you will deal with the central management tasks in digital marketing. This includes the development of online marketing and social media management strategies as well as the conception of projects for digital transformation. You will then apply your theoretical knowledge in case studies.

How are successful events designed and implemented? You dedicate yourself to this question in the event management focus. You will deal with event strategies as well as the planning, implementation and conception of events and go into operational implementation using real examples from practice.
Corporate communication and agency management
The process of media planning with a focus on companies and classic agency management is the focus of this focus. You will learn to develop cross-media concepts for digital and analog channels and deal with models and methods of research on the effects of communication.
semester abroad
Internationality plays a particularly important role in the digital economy. Underpin your media management and digital marketing studies with language courses or a stay abroad. This can take you to New York or Shanghai in your 4th or 5th semester.
