You will have the chance to explore radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations, branding, marketing and more, learning from experienced industry professionals and leading academics.
A work placement will give you first-hand experience of media and communication, and you will have the option of studying a semester abroad in Hong Kong, Singapore or the USA.

We offer a varied and flexible degree, so you can shape your course to match your career goals as well as developing your own interests.
You can choose topics including creative media practice, radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations including strategy, branding and marketing, media theory, media law and film.
A work placement and the opportunity to spend a semester overseas will both enhance your student experience and career prospects.
You will have an academic mentor for any support you need, and there is the chance to study some modules through the medium of Welsh.

Your degree programme may already give you an option to study or work abroad but in addition to this, you can also consider an international summer programme.
These programmes are open to all our undergraduate students and include culture and study tours, volunteering programmes and internships across destinations such as China, Zambia, South Korea, Japan, Europe and Canada.
