Our BA (Hons) Criminology and Sociology with Foundation Year* is a four-year degree. This course will be taught by practising criminologists and students will develop a comprehensive understanding of cutting edge criminological and sociological theorising and will be able to apply this to current socio-economic policies and conditions. The course is aimed at students who may not be served by the current sociology/criminology degree courses in research-led universities. The first year is a Foundation Year, which focuses on developing the key skills required to undertake degree level study, both academic and legal/professional related learning. The subsequent three years then follow our full-time BA (Hons) Criminology and Sociology course*.... [-]
