Students get fundamental knowledge in the field of processing of metals, alloys, and powder materials by pressure forging, stamping, and pressing. Preparing for the implementation of organizational-administrative and research activities, improve the knowledge and skills to implement the design, production and technological activities in the field of materials processing pressure.
There is a student exchanges program TEMPUS which is successfully implemented in cooperation with the National engineering school of Saint Etienne (ENISE), France since 2010.

- Machines and technology of processing of materials by pressure
Material process by pressure – a versatile and widespread method of producing simple and complex parts from different materials: metals, alloys, sintered materials, plastics, etc. Modern technology requires process by pressure receiving items with high precision and strength, with specified physical, mechanical, tribological and other properties. These include parts of vehicles, tractors, equipment, complex systems of aviation and space systems, nuclear power, and household appliances.
- Welding, related processes, and technologies
The program aims to: – research work in the field of welding, related processes and technologies; – study modern methods of computer-aided design of welded components. – study mathematical, physical and numerical modeling of technological processes; – research in the field of efficiency of welded constructions; - assessment of the residual life of welded structures. - programming of welding robot in the welding cell
