WHY STUDY POLITICAL SCIENCE: GLOBAL POLITICS?
Global politics are changing rapidly as globalization makes states and people more interconnected, but also creates new divides. Trump is putting “America First” by withdrawing from treaties and threatening trade wars, while China continues to rise. Europe, facing its own wave of populist politics, is struggling to redefine its position in this new global disorder. With Global Politics, you will study these challenges and problems, analyze the underlying power shifts, and reflect on possible solutions.

Global Politics gives you a solid foundation to further specialize yourself in an international Political Science master’s programme. Being knowledgeable about power and policy-making in Europe and in the world, about globalization and global power shifts, and about global problems and their possible solutions, you can work as a political advisor, journalist, researcher or policy-maker.
