Introduction
Program Overview
The Middle East is now a global logistics hub and is the fastest-growing air transport region in the world. Local airlines have become leaders of civil aviation and are predicted to augment their operations in the coming years. Oman is embarking on an exciting transition in the aviation industry with three new airports and the major expansion of Muscat and Salalah airports.
At MCBS, we believe this new development will take the country to a new era of Air Transportation. The objective of the Bachelor Program in Aviation Management is to prepare students for jobs in the management of airlines and their operations at airports, ranging from ground operations and passenger services to flight despatch. Students will also learn about terminal management, ramp operations, and airline marketing. In the final year, students gain work experience in an internship with airlines and work on a final project related to their studies.

- Internships with airlines or at the airport.
- Additionally, MCBS offers IATA courses – internationally recognized certification.

"Aviation in Oman has become a large sector and the government has been investing wisely in the new airports and the national carrier. It is becoming the key economic driver and creates jobs, especially by facilitating the growth of tourism, trade, and manufacturing. Aviation provides excellent career prospects and options as well as global appeal. Graduates are well placed to start their career in the many areas of aviation with the airports, airlines, civil aviation regulators or the many service providers and concessionaires at the airports".
