Introduction
About
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance prepares you for a diverse career in all aspects of global financial management. Specialized courses cover corporate financial management, management investment, and stock portfolios, banking, investment banking, and the management of financial institutions.
Our Department of Finance faculty members bring real-world experience into the classroom, guiding you through the challenges of the global, 21st-century marketplace. Learn to master and apply financial concepts, including the valuation of assets, the present and future values of cash flows, the value of the currency, and the application of interest rates.
Outside the classroom, you will enjoy a wealth of experiential learning opportunities via our student-run businesses, financial trading floors, and the LIU Post student chapter of the Financial Management Association International, where you will meet leaders of the finance industry as well as develop your own networking and organizational skills. When you're ready to intern, explore the vast professional landscape of New York City as you interact with global investment and finance firms.
