The Faculty of Theology offers a four-year, full-time Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) degree program designed to prepare University level candidates for lay and ordained Christian ministry and to advance religious studies in the context of modern Africa.

The Bachelor of Divinity degree is intended for qualified applicants who seek to fulfill a dream of getting a degree in the field of theology and who desire to prepare for ordained ministry or another form of church leadership.

For those in the Honors Program it is possible to concentrate on one of the following areas:

Area 1 Biblical Studies

Area 2 Historical Studies

This is a 4-year program on full time as well as parallel. The curriculum of this program emphasizes on an integrated approach whereby the student will acquire a basic education to develop his intellectual and analytical ability while at the same time acquiring the body of knowledge and skills in professional management. As such, the first two years will be spent mainly in basic education in the older disciplines of Mathematics, Communication, Economics, and Humanities while the remaining two years will be devoted mainly to specialized subjects in accounting, economics, marketing, finance, human resources management, risk management, quantitative analysis, and public sector management.

Created by the National Episcopal Conference of Congo and canonically erected by the Congregation for Catholic Education, the Faculty of Canon Law aims to promote a thorough teaching and rigorous research in canonical science in harmony with Roman law, modern civil law and The African customs.
