A bachelor's degree is given to students who fulfill the necessary requirements given by the college or university they are attending. The requirements include three to seven years of focus on a subject, typically referred to as a major or concentration.

Its digital resource center is being set up with latest cameras, sound equipments, and editing panels. Leading film and television personalities of the country are involved with the department as adjunct faculties. The bachelor program consists of 129 credits with Internship/ Graduate Film.
Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent.
Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade of C in 3 subjects.

Minimum GPA of 2.5 in O-Levels in five subjects and A Levels in two subjects according to Canadian University of Bangladesh scale (A=5, B=4, C=3, and D=2). Subjects with E Grade will not be considered.
Candidates who have completed higher secondary education (12 years of schooling) under a system different from SSC & HSC or O & A Levels will have to get the approval of the Admission Committee of the University.
Candidates who have finished school abroad have to submit verified/attested copies of previous academic documents from their institute/Foreign Ministry & Equivalence Certificate from Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka.
