A Bachelor's degree can lead educational doors, provide opportunity for career advancement, or lay the groundwork for the pursuit of an advanced degree. Our goal is to help prospective students navigate the program selection process successfully. We do things easy by streamlining the search.

After completing a college degree, a student may wish to pursue a graduate degree. The first level of such study is called a master. Students can earn this title after completing approximately two years of study when taking a full load of credits.

For over 20 years GPRC has been offering this program in partnership with the University of Calgary and has hosted it in several communities across northern Alberta. A degree in Social Work prepares students with the knowledge and skills necessary for generalist social work practice. This includes such diverse settings as schools, hospitals, treatment facilities, corrections, planning councils, family and youth service agencies, and long-term care centers. Social workers are licensed by the Alberta College of Social Workers. -
