Introduction
The worship arts degree prepares students to lead worship with theological depth, musical and technological excellence, and pastoral wisdom. Students will explore the biblical and historical foundations of Christian worship and how it impacts our churches today. Oak Hills creates an atmosphere for students to develop their skills and grow as worship arts team leaders.
If you love the Word of God and how it impacts our times of corporate and individual worship; if you love to explore how God can speak through multiple instruments; if you love to use technology to guide people closer to the Lord, then this degree is for you.
Graduates with this degree will be prepared for a variety of different ministry settings. Examples of employment opportunities upon graduation include worship leader, children, youth worship pastor, technical director, teacher, composer, performer, or creative arts director.
Each academic program of the college provides the context for whole life transformation through biblical life preparation. Students come to learn, learn to serve, and serve to change lives. Through the courses offered in each program, students will develop a Christ-centered worldview and be prepared to make a difference in the world through their lives, work, and service to others.
