Interior design is a challenging, exciting, and ever-changing profession. The Interior Design Program at Mississippi State University is accredited by both the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and is the largest interior design program in the state.

Graduates will receive a Bachelor of Science in interior design and are prepared for a professional career in interior design – to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces for the purpose of improving the quality of life; increasing productivity; and protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public as well as protecting the environment.

Mississippi State University interior design students are receiving awards in national and regional competitions, and alumni of the program are employed by many of the top-100 interior design firms in the United States, working on projects throughout the world.
