General Information on the Program

- Maximum enrollment capacity: 50 places. The enrollment capacity established in accordance with the legal provisions in force cannot be exceeded.
Objectives of the Program “Sports And Motor Performance”
- Gaining knowledge which is able to provide a solid foundation for professional skills and ensure a real opening towards their improvement;
- Matching the training of highly skilled specialists in performance sports by applying the latest knowledge from an interdisciplinary perspective and in line with the dynamics of the labor market;
- Building and promoting a new vision of performance sports based on new technologies and methodologies;
- Ensuring the organizational and training framework for young people, in a competitive and ethical sense;
- Developing skills for performance level assessment in various sporting branches and events;
- Creating professional responsibility;
- Stimulating the ability to organize and conduct specific activities;
- Developing communication skills within interdisciplinary teams.

Learning Outcomes
The holder of a Bachelor’s degree:
- Uses the fundamental notions, theories, and concepts of the sports field in the professional activity and communication;
- Designs, plans and assesses the selection and training process for different age categories and levels of instruction in order to determine the quality and limits of some processes, programs, projects, concepts, methods, and theories, according to the requirements of the patterns specific to the branch of sport;
- Organizes and leads athletes in competitions at different levels of training;
- Describes and establishes the operating system specific to the branch of the sport by the level of training;
- Works within an interdisciplinary team in order to increase the performance capacity of the athlete;
- Uses management and marketing elements specific to the activities and structures of performance sport;
- Organizes specific competitions and events for people of different ages and levels of training under conditions of qualified support, by observing the standards of professional ethics and deontology;
- Operates with digital programs, collects information and communicates in an internationally spoken language, using the field-specific terminology.
Admission of Candidates
Admission to Bachelor’s programs is open for citizens from Member States of European Union, European Economic Area, and Swiss Confederation, on the same terms provided by law for Romanian citizens, including tuition fees. The study documents of these citizens and Romanian citizens with studies abroad must be equated by MEN through the National Centre for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas.
Foreigners from EU member countries may also apply according to current legislation.
Documents Required for Admission
A. For Citizens from Member States of European Union, European Economic Area, and Swiss Confederation
Bachelor’s programs are open for citizens of Romania, graduates holding a High-School (Baccalaureate) Diploma (or an equivalent certificate) and graduates holding a Bachelor's degree in another field.
On registration, candidates will submit an envelope folder containing the following documents:
- Application form (a standard registration form issued by the Registration Board) – where candidates will complete, under the signature, all requested data.
- Declaration of consent for the processing of personal data
- Birth certificate (marriage certificate or document certifying family name change, if applicable) – certified copy.
- Passport copy / Identity card and a photocopy thereof (for Romanian citizens)
- High-School (Baccalaureate) Diploma or an equivalent certificate
- Receipt for payment of the registration fee at the UNEFS pay office
- 6 (six) photos (ID-type) (on the reverse side, the candidate will write his/her family name and first name).
- Medical consultation file
- Graduation Diploma (or original certificate for graduates of 2019) and a certified copy of the Diploma Supplement, for those who want to compete for admission to a second faculty.
NOTE: *True copy – to certify compliance with the original document, candidates will provide the documents as originals and photocopies.
The tax is 800 euro per year.
B. For Foreigners from EU Member Countries
Foreigners from EU member countries may access higher education institutions in Romania if they:
- hold documents proving citizenship of the country;
- have the necessary background proven by study documents issued by recognized education institutions from the country of origin;
- have applied according to the calendar of each education institution and have complied with the deadline set by the MEN methodology;
- opt for an accredited education institution and an accredited/recognized specialization/study program;
- have the UNEFS permission to study at the institution;
- pass the skill tests, after receiving the letter of acceptance to studies;
- provide proof of proficiency for the language of the study program.
For accredited study programs where the teaching process is conducted in foreign languages, UNEFS organizes a proficiency test for the language of the study program. Candidates from countries where the official language is the language in which courses are taught and those who hold an internationally recognized language certificate are exempt from this test.
The tax is 2700 euro per year.
The registration file will contain the following documents:
- An application requesting the letter of acceptance to studies, with all fields completed, in duplicate;
- Declaration of consent for the processing of personal data;
- Copy of the document attesting the permanent residence abroad;
- Copy and certified translation of the High-School Diploma or its equivalent certified by the competent authorities in the issuing country; for the UNEFS programs, a minimum final score of 11/20 and a score of 16 for the Physical education subject (corresponding to the minimum mark 8 - eight) are required;
- Copy and certified translation of the certificate attesting that graduates of the current year have passed their high-school examination;
- Transcripts – copies and certified translations – of studies and syllabus, for candidates seeking equivalence of study periods;
- Birth certificate – copy and certified translation;
- Passport copy – valid at least 6 months after the date on which the letter of acceptance to studies has been issued;
- Transcripts – copies and certified translations – related to the completed studies;
- Certificate of completing the 1-year Romanian language course or language proficiency certificate, as the case may be;
- Medical certificate (in an international language) attesting that the candidate does not suffer from contagious diseases or other illnesses incompatible with the future profession;
- Medical consultation file.

Entrance Examination
A. For Citizens from Member States of European Union, European Economic Area, and Swiss Confederation
The Central Admission Board will display at the Central Complex (140 Constantin Noica Street, sector 6) and on the UNEFS website, at least 24 hours before the start of each test, nominal lists with the registered candidates, the locations and time of the call.
- Language Proficiency Test – ELIMINATORY, where candidates receive a pass or fail grade. Language proficiency can be proven through certificates issued by institutions recognized by the Ministry of National Education. Candidates who hold certificates/international certificates of proficiency (TOEFL, Cambridge) may benefit from their recognition and therefore from the equivalence of the language proficiency exam. Candidates from countries whose official language is English or French are exempt from submitting this test.
- NOTE: For candidates from Member States of European Union, European Economic Area and Swiss Confederation, as well as those from non-EU countries, who apply for authorized/accredited study programs where the teaching process is conducted in foreign languages, UNEFS organizes a language proficiency test in the teaching language of the program. Candidates from countries where the official language is the language in which courses are taught and those who hold an internationally recognized language certificate are exempt from this test.
- Physical Education Test – ELIMINATORY. Candidates who do not get at least an average of 5 (five) in this test are eliminated from the competitive admission.
- Written exam, single-choice test – English/French language and Biology (in English/French) (for citizens from Member States of European Union, European Economic Area, and Swiss Confederation).
B. For Foreigners from EU Member Countries
The admission competition involves:
- Promoting the Language Proficiency Test (if applicable); the exam will take place on 10 September 2019 at the UNEFS headquarters.
- Promoting The Skill Test with the minimum mark 5 (five); the exam will take place on 11 September 2019.

The minimum overall average for passing the admission exam is 5 (five).
