Nova Southeastern University’s B.S. in Information Technology (IT) prepares you for in-demand careers in technology. You’ll develop skills in programming, web development, network security, database management, and human-computer interaction, giving you a wide variety of career options upon graduation.
NSU’s Information Technology curriculum is designed to increase your confidence in math and technical fundamentals. Hands-on learning will help you build your skills and understanding of critical theoretical concepts including the structure and operation of computers. From multimedia design to cybersecurity your courses will touch upon all the prominent areas of technology. At the end of your program, you’ll be ready to take on an independent or faculty-guided project, or an internship in information technology. NSU gives you the edge you need to become a high-earning, IT professional who can solve problems for companies around the world.

Experiential Learning/Internships
During your undergraduate studies, you will get hands-on experience through the course and capstone projects. There are also amazing opportunities to join active, student-led organizations, such as NSU_eHACKERS ("e" stands for Ethical!). As a member of NSU_eHACKERS you can participate in activities such as hands-on preparations for ethical hacking exercises and attend guest lectures by industry leaders (e.g. CISOs), as well as government agents (e.g. FBI Special Agents, DHS agents, NSA agents, CIA agents, & US Army).
Additionally, NSU’s information technology majors get support to help them obtain highly sought-after internships. Recent students have gotten internships at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and Forthright Technology Partners, as IT support technicians.

Graduates of the information technology program will:
