Founded in 1998, the School of the Americas (FAM) is an institution in the city of São Paulo that offers courses in various fields of knowledge.
The institution came up with the intention of offering a differentiated choice of private higher education in São Paulo, prioritizing the quality of courses, that is, provide adequate and modern facilities that meet the demand of interested students to grow both on a personal level as the professional.

HISTORY A personal dream come true by maintainer: offer to the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Consolation, a differentiated educational services existing on the private network of higher education.

The transformation begins with the acquisition of the former headquarters of the Theatre Record, with all the cultural past inscribed in the artistic history of the city of São Paulo, especially in the decades of the years 60/70, where and when there were different civic and artistic events that They started up the rapid transformation of the socio-economic, artistic and cultural São Paulo.
The vocation of a House of Culture, the maintainer transformed in 1995 by an architectural intervention three years, the building-theater, now called Building Yara Vianna Lamacchia.
Opened in January 1998, with facilities that are designed to the most modern international standards of comfort and safety. A beautiful and relaxed space to add knowledge, share ideas and multiply friends.
